In accordance with the resolution of the SFP Distribution Council of 21 March 2024, we present the amount of deductions for collection costs that will apply in the current year.
In accordance with the Act on the Collective Management of Copyrights, the SFP Distribution Council has approved the following deductions for collection costs in 2024:
- Cable, Satellite, Internet Re-emission:
- Authors – 8,78%;
- Producers – 7,94%; - Television Broadcasting – 8,78%;
- Screening in Theatres – 7,50%;
- Providing VoD – 7,50%;
- Public Performance – 9,00%;
- Reproduction (DVD, Blu-ray) – 9,00%;
- Charges for Pure Media – 6,00%;
- Foreign Use – 5,00%.
The amount of deductions for collection costs was determined taking into account the planned amount of revenue from rights and the estimated costs of SFP-ZAPA's operations in 2024.
The rates of deductions for operating costs in 2024 are the lowest of those applied by Polish collective management organisations and among the lowest in the world.
