We are proud to announce that the campaign “Time for #tantiemyzinternetu!” (“It's time for internet royalties!”), carried out by SFP-ZAPA in cooperation with the Green Light PR agency, has been awarded three prestigious Golden Clip statuettes in a competition organized by the Polish Public Relations Consultancies Association.
The campaign, which aimed to draw attention to the problem of the lack of fair pay for filmmakers in the age of streaming platforms, was recognized in three categories:
- Golden Clip for Efficiency
- Bronze Clip in the category Culture & Media
- Bronze Clip in the category Advocacy i Public Affairs
These awards are a testament to the effectiveness of our efforts to regulate copyright on the Internet and ensure that filmmakers receive the royalties they are entitled to.
The following people accepted the awards on behalf of SFP-ZAPA: Anna Robak-Przewłoka (Head of Communications & PR), Martyna Tomczyk-Bagińska (Senior Communications & PR Specialist), legal advisors Monika Chmielewska and Małgorzata Machczyńska, and director Katarzyna Warzecha, representing the SFP Youth Circle.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the competition jury, the Green Light PR agency and all the individuals and organizations that supported us in our efforts to change the copyright law. The amendment to the law, to which our campaign contributed, is an important step towards regulating the audiovisual market and ensuring fair working conditions for creators.
