The long-awaited Round Table on Royalty Payments with the participation of leading film organizations will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, at 10:00 a.m. in Kino Kultura.
Organizations such as the Guild of Polish Directors, the Guild of Polish Screenwriters, the Polish Society of Cinematographers, the Filmmakers' Trade Union, the Guild of Polish Documentary Filmmakers, the Polish Association of Editors, the Editing and Post-Production Guild, the Association of Women in Film, the Guild of Casting Directors, the Guild of Polish Make-Up Artists, the Dubbing Artists' Trade Union and the Association of Film Creators will be present at the debate. Women of Film Association, Casting Directors Guild, Polish Makeup Artists Guild, Dubbing Artists Trade Union, Colorists Association, Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce, Producers Guild, Polish Animation Producers Association, as well as local branches of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
The aim of the meeting is to exchange views of the entire film community on the principles of royalty distribution among specific groups of rights holders, as well as to present proposals for changes in this area.
The Round Table meetings will be an opportunity to present different perspectives and the specific nature of the creative work of individual professional groups working on the creation of audiovisual works, which will foster understanding of the needs of the entire film community.
