ZAPA - the Association of Authors and Audiovisual Producers is a separate organizational unit of the Polish Filmmakers Association. Through this unit, the Polish Filmmakers Association performs the functions of collective management of copyright and related rights.
The activities of SFP-ZAPA, as the relevant collective management organization, are carried out on the basis of the authorization of the Minister of Culture and Art dated May 29, 1995.
Those qualified for payment are:
a) directors of feature films and series, films and documentary series, animated and puppet films and series, soap operas, sitcoms, fictionalized court reconstructions, television theaters and 3D animation,
b) screenwriters of feature films and series, films and documentary series, animated and puppet films and series, soap operas, sitcoms, fictionalized court reconstructions and 3D animations,
c) cinematographers - with respect to works listed in subsection (a); and with respect to animated films, only cinematographers of puppet films and series,
d) production designers - for works listed in subsection (a), except for non-fiction films and documentary series,
e) editors - in relation to films and feature series, films and documentary series, soap operas, sitcoms, fictionalized court reconstructions and television theaters,
f) sound operators - for feature films and series, films and documentary series, films and animated series, soap operas, sitcoms, fictionalized court reconstructions and television theaters,
g) costume designers - in relation to feature films and series, soap operas, sitcoms and fictionalized court reconstructions,
h) interior decorators - in relation to feature films and series, feature documentaries and soap operas and sitcoms.
It is very important to report your current repertoire, or personal information, on an ongoing basis. This allows us, as a collecting society, to make quick and efficient calculations of the amount of royalties paid.
ZAPA Online System is a web-based data access system. It provides the ability to view and update personal data and repertoire entrusted to SFP-ZAPA. In addition, it allows you to view reports of past disbursements and issues of works. Any person entrusting copyrighted works to SFP-ZAPA for management is given the opportunity to use the ZAPA Online system.
After submitting a set of application documents, the authorized person receives a login to the system and a one-time access password by registered mail. When logging in for the first time, the system forces a password change.
If you lose your password, the system allows you to generate a new one-time password. In this case, use the 'Password Reminder' option. In order to receive a replacement password, you need to enter your login and e-mail address, which was submitted on the personal data form.
